Stephen Stills Interview
John DeBella, WMGK Artist Interviews
Wednesday, November 04, 2009
21 Views

Stephen Stills was on the show this morning via satellite, so we talked to the legendary singer and songwriter as if he were right next to us in-studio! His gravelly, well-tread rock and roll voice came through crystal clear. Although it'll blow you away how this voice can complement the silky harmonies of CSNY! This happened to be the first time John had Stephen on the show without C, N or Y. Check it out!

The lead guitar player from Styx, and good buddy of John's, JY came back on the show today! Although he spent most of the interview gently laughing to himself, we did cover some ground on the band and their current tour, which stops by the Sovereign Center in Reading, PA on November 6th. Check him out!

Legendary drummer, Stewart Copeland was on the show today! If you aren't aware, he was the hi-hat dancing, reggae and punk-influenced pulse for The Police, and many more bands after that. He has a new book out called Strange Things Happen, which is a memoir telling his life story from growing up the son of a CIA operative, rising to Rock God status, and all kinds of other "strange things" that happened along the way! Truly a unique guy, and a great interview. Enjoy!

Go online now before it's too late, and you can see the Big Man in person for that historic rock and roll event. Enjoy!

Half of KISS came on the show today to talk about their latest release, Sonic Boom! They were lead guitarist, Paul Stanley and the "kitty cat" on drums, Eric Singer. Although it sounded as if they were right in front of us, in-studio, they joined us via satellite to talk rock and roll! Fun stuff, check it out...

Drummer, Ric Lee joined us this morning! He used to play for Ten Years After, and continuing with our "Woodstock Week", he was another great guy to talk to about the historic festival, and it's 40 year anniversary. Special thanks to T Morgan for setting this conversation up... Ric is still sorry for screwing up your Keith Moon interview!
