CLINTON PUSHED FOR ZEPPELIN TO PERFORM FOR SANDY RELIEF
5/6/2013 7:16:00 PM
Two major reports this afternoon citing that former President Bill Clinton (never one to aim low) took his shots at trying to convince Led Zeppelin to reunite in a benefit for Sandy Relief, after the devatasting hurricane hit last year. 700 lucky souls got to be the guinea pigs for the Rolling Stones, who are set to kick off their (presumably) final run on Friday at The Staples Center there. With rehearsal scuttlebutt flying all last week, while the boys holed up in Burbank, the show wasn't a shocker, but as always, they kept it under wraps until Saturday, when the fun and games began.
Just an hour’s notice was given that tickets were on sale for the gig at Echoplex in the city’s Echo Park area. They were priced just $20 and offered on a lottery basis, with lucky buyers asked to put on a wristband and have a photo taken for ...
