The Lindsey Buckingham Appreciation Society
will perform ‘Mirage’ in its entirety…and more!!!
Feb. 17 & 18 in Philadelphia and Brooklyn
Indie rock not-so-supergroup to perform Fleetwood Mac’s 1982 album ‘Mirage,’ along with other Fleetwood Mac and solo Lindsey Buckingham songs at two shows in Philadelphia, PA and Brooklyn, NY in mid-Feb.
Nearly two years after they performed Lindsey Buckingham's enduring creative statement, the 1979 Fleetwood Mac double-album TUSK, at shows in Boston, Brooklyn, and Philadelphia - joyous gigs that pleased both the old heads in faded Buckingham-Nicks bootleg tees and young'uns probably conceived while RUMOURS spun in the background - indie rock not-so-supergroup THE LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM APPRECIATION SOCIETY returns to perform Fleetwood Mac's 1982 album MIRAGE in its entirety, along with select Mac and solo Buckingham gems at two shows: Friday, February 17 at Johnny Brenda's in Philadelphia, and Saturday, February 18 at Littlefield in Brooklyn.

The Hooters' David Uosikkinen and his band, In The Pocket, plus John Danaher & The Quietmen will rock the 2012 Winter Festival concert at 8:00pm on Friday, January 27th in the Stephen J. Buck Theater at New Hope-Solebury High School (180 West Bridge Street ). Tickets are $35 in advance for reserved seating, $40 at the door, or $75 for VIP tickets (includes: pre-concert reception, meet and greet with the band, trolley service to/from the reception and priority seating at the concert). The New Hope-Lambertville Winter Festival is a non-profit corporation that benefits the New Hope, Lambertville, and Solebury Parks and Recreation Departments and local food banks. Winter Festival also benefits other community organizations such as social services, schools, fire, police and rescue organizations.

South Jersey native, and newly acquired closer for the Boston Red Sox, Andrew Bailey invites everyone to join him this Saturday, January 7th, starting at 7PM at Pinsetters Bar & Bowl on Maple Avenue in Pennsauken to play in a benefit for pediatric cancer research and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Go see Andrew, a local guy, who has really impressed as rookie of the year, and closer for the Oakland A's, but still gives back to where he grew up while a top prospect at Paul VI High School.
I'll be out for this fun event, which should be a great time, rolling gutterballs for a good cause!
