Cyndy Drue grew up outside Philadelphia in Worcester, Pa listening to the "boss jocks" on WFIL. She had a radio show at Centenary College in New Jersey, her first job at WSAN in Allentown, and eventually landed at her dream station, WMMR from 1983-1996. One of her favorite perks of the job is getting to interview the artists. But if only she hadn't turned down Bono's dinner invitation back in 1981....She loves playing all the classic rock on WMGK Saturdays 3pm-7pm. Cyndy writes a blog on wmgk.com as Event Reporter. Let Freedom Rock Fest Rocked!

It was a great night at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden last night for WMGK's 12th Annual Let Freedom Rock Fest. If you were there, thanks for comin' out. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we all did.

I met a writer - Danny Coleman, who sat in the row behind me, and he wrote a review here of the show for Concert Blogger. That site is a good resource for all things Live Music.

Congrats to the MGK House Band, the Sofa Kings for finishing up a year with us by opening the show last night. Not bad for their resume to say they opened for Heart and Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience in front of some 15,000 fans!

Here's the setlist for the encore with Heart and Jason Bonham:

Battle of Evermore
The Song Remains the Same
The Rain Song
The Ocean
Kashmir
Stairway to Heaven
