Cyndy Drue grew up outside Philadelphia in Worcester, Pa listening to the "boss jocks" on WFIL. She had a radio show at Centenary College in New Jersey, her first job at WSAN in Allentown, and eventually landed at her dream station, WMMR from 1983-1996. One of her favorite perks of the job is getting to interview the artists. But if only she hadn't turned down Bono's dinner invitation back in 1981....She loves playing all the classic rock on WMGK Saturdays 3pm-7pm. Cyndy writes a blog on wmgk.com as Event Reporter. Led Zep film - go see it!

For a very limited time, you can see the new Led Zeppelin film in theaters. WMGK premiered it to some lucky listeners Monday night. Their website tells you where it's playing. Otherwise, the DVD will be out in November. I saw the film tonight and loved it. Here's my review.

BTW, Shepard Farley designed the artwork for the film (pictured here). He is the artist that designed the HOPE poster for Obama's campaign four years ago, and the 50th anniversary of the Rolling Stones logo earlier this year.
