In the span of just one week’s time, both Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are releasing new studio albums.  That is quite a nice treat coming from two guys who don’t really need to put out another album, or perform another concert.  They could just as easily collect massive royalty and publishing checks for the remainder of their lives and rest on their laurels, enjoying their amazing combined musical accomplishments. 

 

Paul and Ringo, however, don’t work that way.  They are musicians and entertainers, first and foremost.  They love to please their fans, and themselves, with each new project and, in listening to these two albums, you can’t deny that they still really LOVE making music.
