Def Leppard Performing Pre-Show At NFL International Series

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA - MARCH 17: (L-R) Musicians Rick Allen, Phil Collen, Joe Elliott, Rick Savage and Vivian Campbell of Def Leppard announce the KISS and Def Leppard '2014 Heroes Tour' at House of Blues on March 17, 2014 in West Hollywood, California.
The NFL will be bringing “Hysteria” one way or another with their upcoming International Series in London this September.

Per NFLUK.com, Def Leppard will be performing the pre-game show before the Oakland Raiders/Miami Dolphins game at Wembley Stadium on September 28th.  The Raiders/Dolphins game is one of three games that will be played at Wembley Stadium on the 28th.   The other two games include the Detroit Lions vs. the Atlanta Falcons and the Dallas Cowboys vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars.

This, of course, isn’t the first time Def Leppard helped ring in a new sports season.  They performed at the 2008 NHL Face-Off Rocks, where Joe Elliott infamously placed the Stanley Cup upside down onto a podium and caused hockey fans everywhere to burn their copies Pyromania.  (Well...not really, but plenty of people were annoyed.)

Word of advice, NFL:  Don’t let the band anywhere near the Vince Lombardi Trophy.  They might be tempted to play catch with it.
