This September, London’s Roundhouse concert hall will be taken over by the 30-day (!) iTunes Festival, and just like the variety of music the download service offers to the world, the festival will also feature an eclectic lineup that will include Robert Plant, Blondie and Chrissie Hynde.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, the festival will highlight over 60 different acts, spanning a variety of genres, and will be streamed for free by iTunes for the whole world to enjoy.
You have to give credit to the folks that organize this festival. Where/how else could you possibly sway fans of boy band 5 Seconds of Summer (who are also on the fest’s bill) into gaining a potential interest in Debbie Harry. (If those fans walked away wanting to learn more about these classic acts, I’m sure their parents would be thrilled!)
Tickets for the marathon festival are available via a lottery that fans can enter at iTunes.com/Festival.
