Before kicking off their tour on June 19th, Queen + Adam Lambert performed an intimate show to a few hundred fans which also included the debut performance of Freddie Mercury solo song “Love Kills.”
Per Gigwise, the track was the first song Mercury released as a solo artist, however, it was not well received by many critics, and he never got a chance to perform it live before his death.
Check out the performance below. Lambert’s vocal attack is chilling, and it makes me wish Mercury were still with us, so we could hear their two voices duel back-and-forth. What a battle that would be!
