As much as Paul McCartney would like to start his summer U.S. tour as scheduled, he’s following doctor’s orders, taking some additional rest time and rescheduling the first seven dates of the tour.
Per his official website, Sir Paul states, "I’m sorry but it’s going to be a few more weeks before we get rocking in America again. I’m feeling great but taking my docs' advice to take it easy for just a few more days. Look forward to seeing you all soon.”
McCartney is still recovering from a nasty viral infection that forced him to be hospitalized in Tokyo and to cancel the entire Japan/South Korea leg of his “Out There” tour.
While the rescheduled dates might pose a minor inconvenience for fans, I’m sure they won’t mind and would rather Paul be at 100 percent!
