Stevie Nicks Says New Album Comprised Of Lost Songs

BEVERLY HILLS, CA - MAY 13: Singer-songwriter Stevie Nicks, recipient of the BMI Icon Award speaks onstage at the 62nd annual BMI Pop Awards at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel on May 13, 2014 in Beverly Hills, California.
On the same night she received the BMI Icon Award for her contributions as a singer-songwriter, Stevie Nicks said that she’s currently working on a new solo album called “24 Karat Gold.”

Speaking to Billboard.com, Nicks says that the album will be comprised of lost tracks from previous recording sessions and that she oddly found most of these songs after searching herself on YouTube.  While Nicks says she had no idea how the unreleased material ended up on the internet, she did say the album was the fastest record she ever recorded, laying down 18 tracks in three weeks.

The title of the album comes from the bootleg track of the same name, which can be listened to below.
