Joe Walsh on New Eagles Music, Recording With War and Foo Fighters

LOS ANGELES, CA - MAY 12: Musician Joe Walsh speaks onstage at the 10th annual MusiCares MAP Fund Benefit Concert at Club Nokia on May 12, 2014 in Los Angeles, California.
Joe Walsh
was at the MusiCares MAP benefit Monday night (May 12th) to honor Ozzy Osbourne, but he also touched on his current projects, from new Eagles music to recording with War and the Foo Fighters.

Speaking with Billboard.com at the event, Walsh says that while there are some new Eagles tracks “in the can,” he never confirms whether they will be released.

Walsh also mentions that he’s been working with different acts, recording some guitar tracks with War and even the Foo Fighters on their highly-anticipated new album that’s currently in production.

Working with War and the Foos just adds to the huge list of artists Walsh has recorded with, which includes America, Steve Winwood, the late John Entwistle and REO Speedwagon. It only helps prove that Joe Walsh can work with nearly everyone.
