NEW YORK, NY - JANUARY 31: John Fogerty performs at 'Howard Stern's Birthday Bash' presented by SiriusXM, produced by Howard Stern Productions at Hammerstein Ballroom on January 31, 2014 in New York City.
Some of classic rock’s biggest names have teamed up to help out homeless veterans

To help raise money for Veterans Matter, an Ohio-based organization that helps homeless veterans find homes, John Fogerty, John Mellencamp, Stevie Nicks and ZZ Top’s Dusty Hill will be featured in various radio commercials urging listeners to take part in their texting donation campaign for the month of May, with 100% of texting donations going toward the Veterans Matter housing program.

To donate to Veterans Matter, text VETS to 41444.  Unlike other charity texting campaigns, there is no standard donation per text, so you can pledge any amount you would like.
