Julian Lennon, the first son of Beatles icon John Lennon, celebrates his 51st birthday today.
Born April 8, 1963, Liverpool, England between Lennon and his first wife, Cynthia, Julian was quite literally brought up around music. He was even the inspiration for many of the Beatles’ songs, including “Hey Jude” and “Lucy in the Sky.”
A musician in his own right, Lennon found success with his 1984 release, Valotte, and has toured and collaborated with many other artists during his time in the industry.
Recently, Lennon released the music video for his track “Guess It Was Me” off the 2011 release of Everything Changes.
Julian is currently enthralled with his charity work. Fresh off returning from helping the poor in Ethiopia, Lennon sang on the new and upcoming Brent Bourgeois record. Expect to see more charity work and guest appearances throughout 2014!
