Bruce Springsteen, the Eagles' Glenn Frey and Stevie Nicks are among the "special guests" who will take part in the 29th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on April 10 at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.
Springsteen will induct his E Street Band and, presumably, perform with the group, which will be two shows into its U.S. tour at the time. Frey will be inducting Linda Ronstadt who, due to her Parkinson's disease, will be unable to attend or perform; in her place Stevie Nicks will join Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris, Sheryl Crow and Carrie Underwood for a musical tribute.
Current E Street Band guitarist Tom Morello has been tapped to induct KISS, while Coldplay frontman Chris Martin will do the honors for Peter Gabriel, ?uestlove of the Roots for Hall & Oates and R.E.M.'s Michael Stipe for Nirvana.
Cat Stevens’ inductor, meanwhile, has not yet been determined. Stevens, Gabriel and Hall & Oates have also confirmed that they'll perform during the ceremony, which HBO will film and air during May. Legendary rock managers Brian Epstein (the Beatles) and Andrew Loog Oldham are also being inducted that night.
