Fleetwood Mac to Record New Album with Christine McVie

After years of going her own way, Christine McVie has rejoined Fleetwood Mac.

Not only that, but Mick Fleetwood has confirmed plans to record new music in March, according to Maui News (via FleetwoodMacNews).

Fleetwood says McVie has composed new tracks for the new album, and a new tour with the five performers is in the work for this fall.

The group reunited last year on a new EP and a new tour, which was sadly cut short due to John McVie’s cancer treatments.

His ex-wife, Christine, told The Guardian in November that she would be happy to return to the band on a permanent basis after joining them onstage in London.

“I like being with the band, the whole idea of playing music with them,” she said. “I miss them all. If they were going to ask me I would probably be very delighted… but it hasn’t happened so we’ll have to wait and see.”
