Music from Bruce Springsteen’s Latest Album to Premiere on Popular Television Drama

A week after accidentally leaking on Amazon, Bruce Springsteen’s new album is making its debut in a more intentional way this Sunday.

News came today via Rolling Stone that music from the Boss’s latest studio effort, High Hopes, will be included in one of the upcoming trailers for the CBS hit drama, The Good Wife.

The teaser will debut at the end of the January 5 episode at 10pm EST, after which, fans can go to CBS.com/Springsteen and stream the album in its entirety through Monday, January 13 at 7pm EST.

Then, on the January 12 episode of The Good Wife, three of the tracks from High Hopes will be featured on the show, including the album’s title track, “Hunter of the Invisible Game” and “The Ghost of Tom Joad.”

“We love using music in The Good Wife, and we always have the music inform the action and the cutting," stated executive producers Robert King and Michelle King in an official press release (via RollingStone.com). “So when the Bruce Springsteen songs became available, we couldn't believe our luck. We wished we could use the whole album.”

The Good Wife airs every Sunday from 9pm-10pm EST on CBS.

Meanwhile, Springsteen and his E Street Band are gearing up for a series of international tour dates this year, with stops in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand scheduled from the end of this month through March.

High Hopes, which marks the latest from Springsteen and company since 2012’s Wrecking Ball, is due out on January 14.
