Paul McCartney Adds More U.S. Concert Dates to Tour Schedule

Missed the chance to attend Paul McCartney’sOut There” tour date at Boston’s Fenway Park? No matter, as McCartney has now announced even more upcoming US concerts!

Tickets for the show at Fenway Park sold out within five minutes (did the server crash?), but McCartney just added the BOK Center in Tulsa, OK, May 29, and, taking a trip through time, the Washington Coliseum in Washington, D.C., July 12. As all Beatles fans know, the Coliseum was the site of the Fab Four's first U.S. concert in 1964.

The rocker also announced yesterday that he would be making his performance debut in Austin, TX for a show on May 22 at the Frank Erwin Center.

Besides performing from his vast repertoire of songs, McCartney’s “Out There” tour will feature a new form of production that, in keeping with expectations, won’t disappoint.

According to a review on Sir Paul’s 2009 Tulsa show from The Oklahoman, "McCartney put his seemingly endless reservoir of energy to work ensuring that no one will forget the three hours they spent with him Monday night at Tulsa's BOK Center, a concert that celebrated the venue's first anniversary... He showed no sign of fatigue after the lengthy show, having given Tulsa an extraordinary survey of what is arguably the greatest songwriting career in rock 'n' roll history."

Tickets for the Tulsa, Washington D.C. and Austin shows will be available Friday, April 12 at 10am. Those with American Express cards can purchase tickets beginning Tuesday, April 9, 10 a.m. through Thursday, April 11.
