The American Cancer Society is hosting a walk/run through “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” on Saturday, October 20th at 4231 Avenue of the Republic in Philadelphia. This fundraiser honor survivors, remembers loved ones, fights back and raises money for breast cancer research, education, advocacy, patient services, and community partnership grants. All community members between the ages of 30 and 65 who have never been diagnosed with cancer are invited to enroll in this study. Pre registration is not required. There will be appearances by the Philadelphia Eagles, Quest Diagnostics, Siemens and Wells Fargo, 6abc, BEN-FM, 97.5 the Fanatic and more!
