Dress for Success Philadelphia is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the economic independence of women in need who are transitioning back into the workforce by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help them thrive in work and in life.
We are united globally by a common aspiration that has created a movement.
By helping a woman succeed, we are also helping her children succeed and are making her self actualized. She becomes a mentor to other women.
Dress for Success Philadelphia opened its doors on July 1, 2008, to a waiting community. In a very short time, Dress for Success Philadelphia has become the second largest suiting program in the world, following closely on the heels of our flagship office (consisting of three boutiques) in New York City. To date, we have suited more than 6,000 low income women who are trying to emerge from poverty – and to provide better futures for themselves and their families.
