102.9 WMGK “DEBELLA’S WHAT'S THAT LINE” OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

Contest begins Monday, October 3, 2011 @ 6 a.m. Eastern Time and continues each weekday until 9:59 a.m. ET, through Friday, October 21, 2011, 2011.  No purchase necessary.

How to Enter the contest For a Chance to Win
Each weekday morning during the contest period, at approximately 7:20 a.m., John DeBella will play an audio segment from a classic rock song on 102.9 WMGK (Station).  The contest will not take place on Monday October 10, 2011 due to the Columbus Day holiday.  he audio segment will consist of the lyrics to one line of the song.  To participate in the contest, listen for John to play that day’s audio clip and announce that he will take callers at 215-263-WMGK immediately after the clip plays.  The first selected caller to correctly sing (not speak) the lyrics to the next line of the song will win the prize, subject to full completion of the call and confirmation of eligibility.  Lyrics sung by the caller must be substantially accurate, as determined in Station’s sole judgment.  During the contest period, WMGK will post the name of the band that the next day’s song lyrics will be from.  Band names will be posted on the immediately preceding weekday at www.wmgk.com’s @Work Network Member’s page to allow ‘MGK @ Work Network members to familiarize themselves with the band's songs and lyrics. Listeners can become an ‘MGK @ Work Network member by completing the registration form at www.wmgk.com/.  There is no charge to join.  Monday bands will be posted the preceding Friday (Friday, September 30 for the first day of the contest). 

Online listeners to the WMGK web stream may experience a reception delay of up to one minute.  Listening to the station’s over-the-air broadcast is the best way to participate in this contest.
Winner qualification is subject to FULL phone call completion, and the verification of the caller’s name, address, home phone number, work/cell phone number, date of birth and social security number, all of which must be provided prior to completion of the call.   Contest calls will not be accepted at any other number.

Prize
Fourteen(14) prizes will be awarded during the contest period.  Each prize is a 4-day/3-night trip to Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas for the winner and one (1) guest, consisting of: Round trip coach air transportation for two (2) between Philadelphia International Airport and Nassau International Airport provided by  American Airlines; three (3) nights’ accommodations, room and tax only, for two (2) guests in a maximum of one (1) room at the Royal Towers; and transfers to and from the resort and the airport in Nassau.  Winner is responsible for any Internatinoal taxes charged when redeeming voucher.

Total ARV: $2,750 per prize.

Travel arrangements must be made a minimum of sixty (60) days prior to date of departure and are subject to availability. All elements of the Grand Prize must be redeemed at the same time, and no changes will be permitted after confirmation of booking.  Winner and guest must travel on the same itinerary.  Minor traveling companion(s) (if any) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  If winner is between the ages of 18 and 21, he/she must be accompanied by an adult who is at least 21 years of age, in order to check in to on-site hotel.  Blackout dates and other travel/accommodation/activity restrictions may apply.  Winner will be responsible for all meals, insurance, incidentals, upgrades, baggage fees, gratuities, telephone calls, ground transportation and for any other expenses, including federal, state and local taxes, not specifically stated as included in the prize. Airfare will be provided in the form of an American Airlines Travel Certificate.  Winner is responsible for coordinating air transportation from American Airlines using the Travel Certificate, and for booking available hotel accommodations at Atlantis.  Booking as far in advance as possible is recommended for both air and hotel, as both American Airlines  flights to Bahamas  and hotel stay at Atlantis are in high demand.  Trip must be completed by October 23, 2012 or prize will be forfeited in its entirety. Credit card may be required at check-in to cover room incidentals.

Any applicable fees, taxes, surcharges, service charges and passenger facility charges relating to air travel are the responsibility of the winner and must be paid at the time of booking.  American Airlines Travel Certificates are valid for travel only on specific American Airlines-affiliated carriers, as specified on the certificate.  Lost or stolen Travel Certificates will not be replaced.  Passengers are not eligible for AAdvantage miles or other promotional benefits in connection with use of the Travel Certificates.  Other restrictions and requirements apply as stated on the Travel Certificates or accompany paperwork.

Odds of winning depend in part on number of people trying to call in.  Non-cash prizes are not redeemable for cash.  Station reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute any prize or prize element with one of equal or greater value.  Winners may not request prize substitution.  Prizes are non-transferable and may not be claimed or used by any person other than the winner.  Winners must claim their prizes or prize certificates in person at the Station offices within 30 days after the end of the contest.  Prizes not claimed within the 30-day period will be forfeited. 
Eligibility
All entrants must be at least 18 years old and legal residents of the United States residing or working in the Philadelphia metro survey area (as defined by Arbtiron).  A winner will be disqualified if he/she or a member of his/her household has won a Station contest with a value over $50.00 within the previous 60 days.  Winners will also be disqualified if they or their household members have won a prize or prize package valued at $1000 or more from any Greater Media Philadelphia station (WBEN-FM, WMGK, WMMR, WPEN) within the past 365 days.  Employees (including their immediate families and members of the same household) of Greater Philadelphia Radio, Inc., its affiliates, promotional sponsors, advertising and promotional agencies who do business with WMGK, and other radio stations in WMGK’s metro survey area (as defined by Arbitron) are not eligible to participate in any contest presented by WMGK.  The term “immediate family” includes spouses, siblings, parents and legal guardians, children and legal wards, grandparents, and grandchildren, including “in-laws.”  Limit one opportunity to “Finish the Lyric” per person during the contest period; multiple phone calls will disqualify the entrant.  No purchase or other consideration is necessary to participate in this contest. 
Release
By entering, all participants agree to release and hold harmless Atlantis Paradise Island Resort and American Airlines (the Prize Providers), any other promotion sponsors, WMGK, Greater Philadelphia Radio, Inc., each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability and any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this contest and any prize won.  Before claiming the prize, Winners (and their guests, if any) will be required to sign a form releasing Prize Providers, WMGK and their respective affiliated companies and employees from all liability in connection with the contest and the award and use of the prize.

WMGK will report the total value of each prize to the IRS and will furnish winners with a federal Form 1099.  Winners must provide their social security number to WMGK for tax reporting purposes, and are solely responsible for payment of all taxes incurred as a result of the award of a prize.

Failure to conform to all contest rules, or any fraud or other illegal or inappropriate conduct on the part of or on behalf of a contestant, will result in the contestant's disqualification and forfeiture of any prize won.  WMGK reserves the right to rule ineligible listeners who, in WMGK’s sole judgment, engage in abusive conduct with respect to any contest or promotion conducted by WMGK or its affiliates.  WMGK reserves the right to make changes in the contest rules at any time, which changes will become effective upon announcement.  By taking part in this contest, participants agree to be bound by these rules and all decisions of the judges, who are employees of WMGK and whose decisions with respect to all aspects of the contest are final and binding.  Copies of written contest rules and the list of winners are available during regular business hours at the WMGK studio, 1 Bala Plaza – Suite 339 Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004 for 60 days after the contest concludes.

How to Enter for a Chance to Win
Contest starts Monday November 28, 2011 and ends Friday, December 9, 2011.  WMGK will give away a minimum of one (1) Hitachi 42" LCD HDTV each weekday during the contest period.  Listen at approximately 7:20am; 10:20am; and 2:20pm for the TEXTmas Word of the Day and then text the word to MGKMGK (645645) (standard message and data rates may apply).  Listeners can also enter at www.wmgk.com via an online entry form.  Listen for the TEXTmas Word of the Day, go to the TEXTmas Word of the Day contest page at wmgk.com, fill out the form completely, and hit enter to submit the entry.  Limit one entry per day, regardless of entry method.
Between 5pm and  5:20pm each day, WMGK will choose one entry at random from all eligible entries received that day, and the MGK DJ will call the person whose entry was selected.  If the person is able to take the call and completes the entire phone call, s/he will win the prize.  If the person does not pick up the phone, is unavailable, or fails to complete the call, WMGK will choose another entry until an entrant answers the phone and completes the call.  The actual entrant must take the phone call from WMGK; no substitutions permitted.  Each week, WMGK will also randomly select one daily winner to receive $1000 in “bonus cash” (a company check for $1000).  The bonus winner will be announced on Fridays at 5:50pm.

How to Enter for a Chance to Win
Entries for the Jim Sipala Kia’s Crazy Christmas contest will be accepted from Monday December 5 through Sunday December 18, 2011 at 11:59(EST)pm.

To enter the contest, submit the required contest information by email to one of the following official contest addresses:  kia@wmgk.com for WMGK, jim@ilikebenfm.com for WBEN-FM or jim@975thefanatic.com for WPEN.  Required entry information includes:  the entrant’s first and last name, address, and phone number; the first and last name of each adult in the family being nominated, their address and a contact phone number for them; and a true story about why the nominated family deserves a check for $1000 and a 1 year lease on a 2012 Kia Sorento (500 words maximum).  All entries must be received by 11:59pm on December 18th to be eligible.  At the conclusion of the entry period, all submitted entries (regardless of station) will be combined and one nominated family will be selected to receive the prize.   Winner will be notified by phone on or about  Tuesday December 20, 2011, and must confirm notification and acceptance of prize within 72 hours or risk disqualification and selection of a new winner.  The entrant and the winning nominated family will be asked to attend a photograph session at a Jim Sipala Kia Dealership on or about December 21, 2011.
Entries will become the property of WMGK, WBEN-FM, WPEN (Stations) and Jim Sipala Kia  and will not be acknowledged or returned.  By submitting an entry, entrants grant the Stations and Jim Sipala Kia the right to copy, edit, publish, post and otherwise use and display their entry story for contest and promotional purposes.

Prize
One (1) prize will be awarded to the winning nominated family:  a company check for One Thousand dollars ($1000.00 ) and a one year lease on a 2012 Kia Sorento. Allow 4-6 weeks following completion of prize claim paperwork for processing.  Taxes, registration, license fees, options, insurance and refundable security deposit, if applicable, are the responsibility of the winner.  Lease will be issued in the winner’s name and the winner will be responsible for all charges in excess of the basic lease value stated below, including (without limitation) any charges for excess mileage (20 cents per mile), damage to the vehicle and any other violations of the lease terms.  Winner must possess a valid driver’s license, demonstrate adequate and valid proof of insurance and qualify for dealer financing in order to receive the prize.  Jim Sipala Kia reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of any winner.  Winner is subject to lease contract terms.  Winner is responsible for maintenance required under the lease.  Maximum of twelve thousand (12,000) miles per year included in prize.  Delivery of car is based on dealer availability. Retail value of one-year lease is approximately $________.  If Winner is not eligible for lease, lease portion of prize will be forfeited and no substitute will be provided.  Winning family will still be eligible to receive the $1000 check.

How to Enter for a Chance to Win
To enter the contest for a chance to have your bill paid by WMGK, email the John DeBella Show via the bailout@wmgk.com link at www.wmgk.com.  The following information must be included in the email:
your full name, a phone number you can be reached at weekdays between 9am and 5pm, the type of bill you need paid, EXACTLY how much the bill is (dollars and cents), and an interesting or funny reason why the John DeBella Show should pay your bill.  Contest entries will be accepted from Monday December 26, 2011 at 12:01 a.m.  through Thursday, January 19, 2012  at 10:00am.  Each weekday from Monday, January 9, 2012  through Friday, January  20, 2012 (excluding Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 16), WMGK’s John DeBella Show will select a minimum of one entry per day as a winner.  All eligible winners who comply with the contest rules and requirements will receive a check from the station in the amount of the selected bill.  If a contestant’s entry is selected by the John DeBella Show, s/he will be announced on-air and will appear on-air (by phone) during the John DeBella Show.  Selected contestants will be contacted the day before the scheduled on-air appearance, at which time the winner must confirm acceptance of the prize and will be given instructions for dialing in to the Show for the on-air appearance.  If a selected contestant does not wish to appear on-air, WMGK reserves the right to disqualify that contestant and select a new winner.  If a contestant isn't able to call in to the radio station at the time they have been assigned or if the contestant calls in late, WMGK cannot guarantee that the contestant will be rescheduled to appear on-air and also reserves the right to disqualify that contestant.
The John DeBella Show will select the winning entries at their sole discretion.  Selection will be based primarily on how funny and/or interesting the reason for paying the bill is.  NOTE:  WINNERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING THEIR BILLS ON TIME.  WMGK WILL PROVIDE A CHECK PAYABLE TO THE WINNER WITHIN 4-6 WEEKS AFTER THE CONTEST ENDS. 
Winner qualification is subject to verification of the contestant’s name, address, home phone number, work/cell phone number and social security number, all of which must be provided prior to completion of the confirmation call.  

Prize
There will be a minimum of nine (9) winners selected to have their bill “paid” by WMGK.   Value of prize depends on the amount of the bill.  Maximum amount that will be paid to any contestant is $2,000, but selected bills to be paid could be much lower.  If a contestant’s bill is selected and the John DeBella Show agrees to pay the contestant’s bill, the contestant must present the ACTUAL BILL at the radio station during business hours within thirty days from the date s/he was selected.  If the winner does not present the actual  bill along with photo identification and address verification to prove that the bill is in fact the contestant’s bill, the radio station is under no obligation to deliver the prize.  PLEASE NOTE:  WMGK will provide a company check in the amount of the bill, payable to the winner.  Winners are responsible for actually paying the bill on time.  WMGK is not responsible for any late fees, penalties or interest charges on the bill, or for any other damage or expense arising from the winner’s failure to pay their bill on time.

Odds of winning depend in part on number of eligible entries received.  Non-cash prizes are not redeemable for cash.  WMGK reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute any prize with one of equal or greater value.  Winners may not request prize substitution.  Prizes are non-transferable and may not be claimed or used by any person other than the winner.  Winners must claim their prizes in person as instructed by the WMGK promotions staff.  Prizes not claimed as instructed  will be forfeited. 

Eligibility
All entrants must be at least 18 years old and legal residents of the United States, living or working in the Philadelphia metro survey area (as defined by Arbitron).  A winner will be disqualified if he/she or a member of his/her household has won a WMGK contest with a value over $50.00 within the previous 60 days.  Winners will also be disqualified if they or a member of their household have won a GREATER MEDIA PHILADELPHIA (WMMR/WMGK/WBEN-FM/WPEN) prize valued at One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) or greater in the past 365 days.  Employees (including their immediate families and members of the same household) of Greater Philadelphia Radio, Inc., its affiliates, promotion sponsors, advertising and promotional agencies who do business with WMGK or any of the promotion sponsors, and other radio stations in WMGK’s metro survey area (as defined by Arbitron) are not eligible to participate in any contest presented by WMGK.  The term “immediate family” includes spouses, siblings, parents and legal guardians, children and legal wards, grandparents, and grandchildren, including “in-laws.”  Void where prohibited.

Release
By participating, all entrants agree to release and hold harmless the promotion sponsors, WMGK, Greater Philadelphia Radio, Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability and any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this contest and any prize won.  Winners  will be required to sign a form releasing WMGK and its affiliated companies from all liability in connection with the contest and the award and use of the prize before claiming the prize.

WMGK undertakes no liability or responsibility, and makes no warranties, express or implied, with respect to the performance of the prize(s) awarded, for any failure to perform or negligent performance of any service provider, or for any other risk, incident or damage, direct or indirect, relating to or arising out of the contest, including (but not limited to) cancellations, postponements, delays or other scheduling changes; missed events or connections or inability of winner to attend; and accident, injury, death, damage or expense arising from or occurring during the use of the prize, or travel to/from or attendance at any event relating to the contest, by the winner and/or winner’s guest(s).  WMGK is not responsible for damage to a prize or loss of a prize after the prize has been claimed. Winners must inspect their prizes before leaving the station.  WMGK is not responsible for technical, hardware or software failure or malfunctions, lost or unavailable network or other telecommunications connections, or lost, late, damaged, illegible, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled, disconnected, or delayed contest entries or communications, whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or used in this contest, or by any human error which may occur in the execution of this contest.  If, for any reason, the contest is not capable of being conducted as planned, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bug, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes beyond the control of WMGK, Station reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest and/or determine an alternate method of awarding the prize(s).

License
Entry into any contest constitutes full permission for WMGK and promotion sponsors and their respective affiliates to broadcast and/or to photograph or publish the participant's name, voice, recorded comments, biographical information, face and likeness without compensation.

Taxes
If required by applicable law, WMGK will report the total value of each prize to the IRS and will furnish winners with a federal Form 1099.  Winners must provide their social security number to WMGK for tax reporting purposes, and are solely responsible for payment of all taxes incurred as a result of the award of a prize. 

General
Failure to conform to all contest rules, or any fraud or other illegal or inappropriate conduct on the part of a contestant, will result in the contestant's disqualification and forfeiture of any prize won.  WMGK reserves the right to rule ineligible listeners who, in WMGK’s sole judgment, engage in abusive conduct with respect to any contest or promotion conducted by WMGK or its affiliates.  WMGK reserves the right to make changes in the contest rules at any time, which changes will become effective upon announcement.  By taking part in this contest, participants agree to be bound by these rules and all decisions of the judges, who are employees of WMGK and whose decisions with respect to all aspects of the contest are final and binding.  Copies of written contest rules and the list of winners are available during regular business hours at the WMGK studio, One Bala Plaza, Suite 339, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004, for 60 days after the contest concludes. 
As a condition to participating in this Contest, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and all causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Contest shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania having competent jurisdiction, which court shall apply the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to the conflicts of law principles thereof. The entrant and WMGK hereby waive any and all right to trial by jury. How to Enter for a Chance to Win
Contest starts Monday, February 6, 2012 at 7am  and ends Friday, February 17, 2012  a t 4:59pm (ET).  As few as five (5) times and as many as nine (9) times each weekday during the contest period, listeners will be instructed to call 215-263-WMGK (9645).  The correct caller will have the opportunity to “spin” the virtual Classic Rock Roulette wheel.  The wheel could “land” on one of a variety of prizes including $500 in cash, $100 in cash, Concert tickets to see Bruce Springsteen on March 28, 2012 at Wells Fargo Center , a Beatles Box Set, and other prizes, or no prize at all.  The WMGK DJ will tell the listener on the phone line what prize they landed on.  The listener will then be given the opportunity to keep that prize or they can decide to spin the Classic Rock Roulette wheel again.  When spinning a second time, it is possible that the listener will receive a better prize, a worse prize or no prize at all.  (NOTE:  There is not an actual wheel; prize opportunities for each call will be selected at random, in advance, by WMGK staff before taking contest calls.)

Odds of winning depend in part on number of people trying to call in.  Odds of winning any particular prize (or no prize at all) once a confirmed contestant are approximately one in 76 (odds will improve as prizes are claimed).  Non-cash prizes are not redeemable for cash.  Allow 4-6 weeks for company check processing.  WMGK reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute any prize with one of equal or greater value.  Winners may not request prize substitution.  Prizes are non-transferable and may not be claimed or used by any person other than the winner.  Winners must claim their prizes in person as instructed by the WMGK promotions staff.  Prizes not claimed as instructed  will be forfeited. 

Eligibility
All entrants must be at least 18 years old and legal residents of the United States, living or working in the Philadelphia metro survey area (as defined by Arbitron).  A winner will be disqualified if he/she or a member of his/her household has won a WMGK contest with a value over $50.00 within the previous 60 days.  Winners will also be disqualified if they or a member of their household have won a GREATER MEDIA PHILADELPHIA (WMMR/WMGK/WBEN-FM/WPEN) prize valued at One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) or greater in the past 365 days.  Employees (including their immediate families and members of the same household) of Greater Philadelphia Radio, Inc., its affiliates, promotion sponsors, advertising and promotional agencies who do business with WMGK or any of the promotion sponsors, and other radio stations in WMGK’s metro survey area (as defined by Arbitron) are not eligible to participate in any contest presented by WMGK.  The term “immediate family” includes spouses, siblings, parents and legal guardians, children and legal wards, grandparents, and grandchildren, including “in-laws.”  Limit one contestant call per person during the contest period.  Void where prohibited.

Release
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the promotion sponsors, WMGK, Greater Philadelphia Radio, Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability and any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this contest and any prize won.  Winners will be required to sign a form releasing WMGK and its affiliated companies from all liability in connection with the contest and the award and use of the prize before claiming the prize.

WMGK undertakes no liability or responsibility, and makes no warranties, express or implied, with respect to the performance of the prize(s) awarded, for any failure to perform or negligent performance of any service provider, or for any other risk, incident or damage, direct or indirect, relating to or arising out of the contest, including (but not limited to) cancellations, postponements, delays or other scheduling changes; missed events or connections or inability of winner to attend; and accident, injury, death, damage or expense arising from or occurring during the use of the prize, or travel to/from or attendance at any event relating to the contest, by the winner and/or winner’s guest(s).  WMGK is not responsible for damage to a prize or loss of a prize after the prize has been claimed. Winners must inspect their prizes before leaving the station.  WMGK is not responsible for technical, hardware or software failure or malfunctions, lost or unavailable network or other telecommunications connections, or lost, late, damaged, illegible, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled, disconnected, or delayed contest entries or communications, whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or used in this contest, or by any human error which may occur in the execution of this contest.  If, for any reason, the contest is not capable of being conducted as planned, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bug, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes beyond the control of WMGK, Station reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest and determine an alternate method of awarding the prize(s).

License
Entry into any contest constitutes full permission for WMGK and promotion sponsors and their respective affiliates to broadcast and/or to photograph or publish the participant's name, voice, recorded comments, biographical information, face and likeness without compensation.

Taxes
If required by applicable law, WMGK will report the total value of each prize to the IRS and will furnish winners with a federal Form 1099.  Winners must provide their social security number to WMGK for tax reporting purposes, and are solely responsible for payment of all taxes incurred as a result of the award of a prize. 

General
Failure to conform to all contest rules, or any fraud or other illegal or inappropriate conduct on the part of or on behalf of a contestant, will result in the contestant's disqualification and forfeiture of any prize won.  WMGK reserves the right to rule ineligible listeners who, in WMGK’s sole judgment, engage in abusive conduct with respect to any contest or promotion conducted by WMGK or its affiliates.  WMGK reserves the right to make changes in the contest rules at any time, which changes will become effective upon announcement.  By taking part in this contest, participants agree to be bound by these rules and all decisions of the judges, who are employees of WMGK and whose decisions with respect to all aspects of the contest are final and binding.  Copies of written contest rules and, if required by law, the list of winners are available during regular business hours at the WMGK studio, One Bala Plaza, Suite 339, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004, for 60 days after the contest concludes. 
As a condition to participating in this Contest, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and all causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Contest shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania having competent jurisdiction, which court shall apply the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to the conflicts of law principles thereof. The entrant and WMGK hereby waive any and all right to trial by jury. If any provision of these Official Rules is declared or found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be illegal, unenforceable or void, then such provision will be null and void but each other provision hereof not so affected will be enforced to the full extent permitted by applicable law.
