Magee Rehabilitation Hospital Holds Race Cars for Rehabilitation Fundraiser at Simeone Foundation Philadelphia, Pa— Here’s something to get revved up about. Magee Rehabilitation Hospital—a US News & World Report Best Hospital for physical rehabilitation— is inviting supporters to enjoy cocktails and dining at the Simeone Foundation Race Car Museum on Monday, October 13, 2008 from 6-9 pm. The event, called Race Cars for Rehabilitation, gives attendees the opportunity to view 60 of the world’s most beautiful and rare race cars while supporting the patients of Magee. Longtime supporter and former Magee patient, Jerry Segal, and his fundraising organization, the Friends of Jerry Segal are hosting the unique, one-of-a-kind reception with support from Kerry Pacifico and the Pacifico family, and Dr. Fred Simeone. Segal and his generous friends have raised over $7 million for Magee Rehabilitation Hospital over the last 18 years through the Segal Classic golf outing. Individual tickets for Race Cars for Rehabilitation cost $195.00. For those who would like a more exclusive experience, VIP tickets, which cost $495.00, provide auto-enthusiasts with the opportunity to take a tour of the museum’s collection with Dr. Fred Simeone, the founder of the brand new museum who has intimate knowledge of each of his cars. (The VIP tour will begin at 5:30 pm.) The Simeone Foundation Museum is located at 6825 Norwitch Drive, Philadelphia, Pa 19153.
