December 18, 2008 is the 65th celebration of St. Keith's Day. Born December 18, 1943 in Dartmouth, Kent, where he later met Mick Jagger at primary school, our hero received real exposure to good music and hard knocks!!!

In his 65 years on this blue marble, Keith has changed the way we rock n' roll forever! Here are some photos of, and quotes from, the man. Feel free to email your own additions!

Got these cool video links from Bubba John:

A meeting of the generations: Keith and Norah

Lotsa Shelter:

Keith and the X-Pensive Winos "cover" "Gimme Shelter"

Listen to the unreleased, extended version of "Gimmer Shelter"

Here's a cool live version of one of the most requested songs for "Jones For The Stones" - check it out!

I just found this clip of The Dirty Mac with Keith on bass...sweet: Yer Blues by The Dirty Mac

St. Keith Quotes:

Dan Longer submitted this photo of Keith as the living dead. I had been looking all over for it, and am happy to share it with you all on this very special this St. Keith's Day!!!

Here's another "Hard to believe he is still alive" shot of St. Keith that I got from Bubba John!

You've got the sun, you've got the moon, and you've got the Rolling Stones”

“I've never had a problem with drugs. I've had problems with the police.”

“It's great to be here. It's great to be anywhere.”

"If you're going to kick authority in the teeth, you might as well use two feet."

"It's only rock n' roll, but I like it!!!"

Happy Birthday, Keith!!!
