Welcome to my web page on wmgk.com! I started at MGK in April, 2002, and really enjoy playing the best rock & roll ever made for you each afternoon from 2-7pm. I also get to share my Beatles collection with you on Sunday mornings from 7:00- 9:00am on Breakfast With The Beatles. You can email me anytime with your request, comment or suggestion. I always answer all of my email, though it may take a little while because of the amount I receive.

I started in radio in 1969 at the age of 8, when my dad and older brother (a 40 year radio veteran) built me a little station in my bedroom. For real! They rigged up one of those old 'Mister Microphones' (which was actually a low power FM transmitter) to a few turntables, a microphone, two tape machines and a sound mixer and before I knew it, our signal reached almost a mile from my house! Those "underground" broadcasts started in Willingboro, New Jersey where we lived (Garfield Park section) and continued when we moved to Medford Lakes, NJ in 1973. I stopped the home setup in July, 1977 when I got my very first professional job at a station in Trenton, NJ. I've worked all over the place (New York City, Dallas, Atlanta and Fort Pierce, Florida) and am very fortunate to have spent most of my 31-year radio career in my hometown of Philadelphia!

I live deep in the woods of Chester County with my wife and daughter. In addition to listening to and collecting music, I also LOVE to birdwatch, and you just may find me in the woods or in the marshes, with Peterson Bird Guidebook and binoculars in hand, looking for that elusive warbler, rail, woodpecker or grosbeak!
