"All prizes MUST be picked up at the WMGK offices during office business hours unless otherwise noted. Winner may notify station that they have nominated someone to pick up their prize for them. If they do so, that person must have a copy of the prize winner's VALID, GOVERNMENT ISSUED ID with them or the prize can not be released."

General Contest Rules
Unless otherwise stated Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK contests are open only to residents of Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK terrestrial listening area. All contest entries will become property of Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK. Prizes are non transferable or exchangeable and can not be substituted, except by sponsors, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Taxes, gratuities and all other incidentals are the sole responsibility of the winner. All winners must be at least eighteen years of age unless otherwise specified. Only one winner per household per 60 days. After winning a prize valued over ($1,000.00) one thousand dollars you will not be eligible to win any other prizes from Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK for one year. All prizes must be claimed within thirty days of the date won or will be forfeited. Winners may be asked to complete an affidavit of eligibility, liability and publicity release. Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK reserves the right to disqualify any winner if the contest rules have been violated in any way. Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK, Greater Media Inc. Their subsidiaries, franchisees, advertising and promotional agencies assume no responsibility or liability for damages, loss or injury resulting from acceptance or use of the prize or if the prize is tickets for a performance Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK is not responsible for show cancellations due to weather, promoter or performer and is not obligated to provide an alternate prize. Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK will not be responsible for errors, problems or delays in the mail or telephone systems that may prevent callers or entries from reaching Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK. If caller gets disconnected for any reason before their name and phone number have been recorded, another call will be taken for the prize. Employees of Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK, Greater Media their competitors and participating contest sponsors are not eligible. Any violation of these rules will result in disqualification. Internet Game & Contest Rules
Game and contest participants using the Internet must provide a valid e-mail address. Limit one entry per e-mail address. Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK and sponsors not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone or other transmission failures of any kind; lost or unavailable network connections; or incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions whether caused by Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK, users, by any equipment or programming utilized in promotions, games or contests, or by human error which may occur in the processing of submissions, which may limit a participant's ability to participate. Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend a promotion, game or contest should a virus, bug, computer or other problem beyond the control of Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK corrupt the administration, security or proper execution of any Internet promotion, game or contest, or the Internet portion of any Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK promotion, game or contest. Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK, in its sole discretion, may award prizes to entries received by alternate means. WMGK Contest Rules – ON-AIR CONTESTS ONLY
Online listeners to the WMGK web stream may experience a reception delay of up to one minute. Listening to the station’s over-the-air broadcast is the best way to participate in our on-air contests. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received. Non-cash prizes are not redeemable for cash. WMGK reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute for any prize with one of equal or greater value. Winners may not request prize substitution. When conducting any contest in which listeners are directed to "be the first caller when you hear a song” by a specific artist (or a specific song), the following rules will apply: snippets of songs played for advertising or promotional purposes and music beds that contain music from the designated artist WILL NOT count. Only specific songs or songs from a specific artist that are played from beginning to end will be used to solicit contest calls. Listeners should try to be the first caller at 215-263-WMGK as soon as they hear the specific song or artist begin to play. (If a listener accidentally calls when a song snippet or music bed is played, s/he will simply be informed of the error; no harm, no foul!) Prizes are non-transferable and may not be claimed or used by any person other than the winner. Winners must claim their prizes in person at the WMGK offices within 30 days after the end of the contest. Prizes not claimed within the 30-day period will be forfeited. All entrants must be at least 18 years old and legal residents of the United States. A winner will be disqualified if he/she or a member of his/her household has won a WMGK contest with a value over $50.00 within the previous 60 days. Employees (including their immediate families and members of the same household) of Greater Philadelphia Radio, Inc., its affiliates (including WMGK), promotional sponsors, advertising and promotional agencies who do business with WMGK, and other radio stations in Station’s ADI are not eligible to participate in any contest presented by WMGK. One entry per person; multiple entries will disqualify the entrant. No purchase or other consideration is necessary to participate in this contest. Winners agree to release and hold harmless the promotion sponsors, WMGK, Greater Philadelphia Radio, Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability and any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this contest and any prize won. Winners (and their guests, if any) will be required to sign a form releasing WMGK and its affiliated companies from all liability in connection with the contest and the award and use of the prize before claiming the prize. WMGK undertakes no liability or responsibility, and makes no warranties, express or implied, with respect to the performance of the prize(s) awarded, for any failure to perform or negligent performance of any service provider, or for any other risk, incident or damage, direct or indirect, relating to or arising out of the contest, including (but not limited to) cancellations, postponements, delays or other scheduling changes; missed events or connections or inability of winner to attend; and accident, injury, damage or expense arising from or occurring during the use of the prize, or travel to/from or attendance at any event relating to the contest, by the winner and/or winner’s guest(s). Winners must provide their social security number to WMGK for tax reporting purposes, and are solely responsible for payment of all taxes incurred as a result of the award of a prize. If more than one song is submitted WMGK will only review and judge the first track on the CD or cassette. All entries must be received by 5:00 p.m. (ET) Friday, July 11th, 2008; entries received after that point will be null and void. All entries will become the property of WMGK and will not be returned. Finalists will be selected by WMGK and contacted by Friday, July 18th, 2008 to confirm participation. WMGK will select a total of 15 qualifiers from among all entries submitted. Three qualifiers will perform at each Qualifying Round event.

All five of these events are the MGK Houseband Qualifying Rounds. The MGK Houseband Finals will take place on:
August 28, 2008 7:00pm @ Cavanaugh’s Riverdeck (417 North Columbus Blvd - Philadelphia, Pa).
All qualifiers for the qualifying and final round must play a minimum of two (2) songs and a maximum of four (4) songs. Set time may not exceed 15 minutes in length. WMGK has the right to end a band’s set if they go over the time limit. WMGK has the right to subtract points from a band’s score, in the stage presence category, if they go over the time limit. All qualifiers for the initial and final round will be required to play one predetermined classic rock cover song, as selected by WMGK in advance that all bands that evening must play. One song will be chosen for the 5 qualifying round performances and a different song will be chosen for the final round performance. The remaining selections will be left to the discretion of the band. Each weekly winner of a Qualifying Round will be determined by a pre-selected panel of judges immediately following each qualifying round, and will be notified by phone within 2 business days. All weekly winners will advance to the final round on August 28th
Judges will rate each participant on a scale of 1 – 10 according to the following criteria: stage presence, musicianship, crowd response, originality (band’s ability to put their own mark on the cover song and/or find a way to make it their own). WMGK will set up the following equipment: band pa system, 1 bass amp, 1 guitar amp (additional guitar amps may or may not be available upon request), microphones, standard drum kit and keyboard amplifier. All performers must use equipment provided by WMGK only. All performers must use their own guitars, their own keyboard (if their band requires a keyboard), and drum sticks.
Prize
Winner will have the opportunity to play the MGK Let Freedom Rock Fest on July 4, 2009 at Cooper River Park. In addition, WMGK will identify on air the name of the winning band as the “Official MGK Houseband” throughout the year. Winner will be required to play a minimum of 3 WMGK promotional appearances between August 29th, 2008 – July 5,2009 for a set fee of $800 per appearance.
Winner will receive 2 free days of recording time at Fifth Stone Recording Studios in Philadelphia, PA. Winner has one year to utilize their free recording time. Their free recording time will expire if not initiated by September 1, 2009. Scheduling is subject to availability.
Winner will receive $3,000 worth of gift certificates that can be used for band equipment at a local music retailer to be determined. Some restrictions may apply.
Rules may be updated from time to time if additional prizes become available.
WMGK reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute any prize for one of equal or greater value. Winners may not request prize substitution. Under no circumstances will WMGK be responsible for any fee or commission to any agent or representative of any contestant. The WMGK 30 day prize rule does not apply with the WMGK Houseband Contest. Prior winners of the Houseband Contest are not eligible to participate in subsequent Houseband competitions. Employees (including their immediate families and members of the same household) of Greater Philadelphia Radio, Inc., its affiliates (including WMGK), promotional sponsors, and advertising and promotional agencies who do business with WMGK are not eligible to participate in any contest presented by WMGK. The term “immediate family” includes spouses, siblings, parents and legal guardians, children and legal wards, grandparents, and grandchildren, including “in-laws.” One entry per person; multiple entries will disqualify the entrant. 2nd Annual DeBella Comedy Competition Rules
NO PURCHASE OR OTHER CONSIDERATION IS NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS CONTEST; PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE CHANCES OF WINNING. How to Enter for a Chance to Win
To participate in the Contest, go to wmgk.com between Monday July 21, 2008 at 12:01am and Sunday August 3 at 11:59pm and register by clicking on the DeBella Comedy Competition link and then sending an email to comedy@wmgk.com. The email must contain 1 joke and the interested competitor must tell The John DeBella Show “why the DeBella Show should contact you for an on-air audition” in 300words or less. All entries must be received by 11:59 pm on 8/3/08. As entries are received, the members of the John DeBella Show will decide in their sole discretion whether to offer the interested contestant an on-air audition. There will be twenty contestants chosen to do an on-air audition. Contestants will be notified by email if The John DeBella Show is interested in auditioning them. . If the contestant can not make the audition time that the John DeBella Show has offered them, The DeBella Show is not obligated to find another time or date for the on-air audition to take place. Each on-air audition will be no longer than 1 minute and will be conducted by phone. During the audition the contestant will be expected to deliver original material. If material is found to belong to someone else, the contestant will be disqualified. 2 or more on-air auditions will occur each weekday on the John DeBella Show (6a-9a on 102.9 WMGK) from August 4 through August 15. WMGK judges will select one Finalist from the week of auditions during the week of August 4 and one Finalist from the week of auditions the week of August 11 . The finalists will be chosen at the discretion of The John DeBella Show as to who they think is “the funniest”. An audio clip from each Finalist will be loaded on to WMGK’s website, wmgk.com, by 9am on August 18th. All participants grant WMGK permission to post their audio clip at wmgk.com for voting and other promotional purposes. WMGK listeners will be encouraged to vote for their favorite contestant between Monday August 18th at 9am and Tuesday August 19 at 5:00pm. Register to become a Cutter's Mill Club Card member and you will be automatically entered to win. Contest runs 8/4/08 - 10/30/08. All entries must be received by 11:59 pm on October 30, 2008. Winner to be drawn on or about 10/31/08 and will be contacted by e-mail or phone. Winner must confirm acceptance of prize within three business days, or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected.
All contest entries will become the property of WMGK and Cutter’s Mill Pet Stores and will not be acknowledged or returned.
Prize
One Prize will be awarded: $50 Cutter's Mill gift card every month for one year, for pet food or anything else sold at Cutter's Mill stores. Value: $600.00. Winner can pick up monthly gift card on or after the 1st day of each month at the Cutter’s Mill store of winner’s choice (Paoli, Chalfont, Cherry Hill or Princeton; same store must be used for all 12 months). Cards will be available for pick-up 11/1/08, 12/1/08; 1/2/09, 2/1/09, 3/1/09, 4/1/09, 5/1/09, 6/1/09, 7/1/09, 8/1/09, 9/1/09, 10/1/09. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received. Non-cash prizes are not redeemable for cash. WMGK reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute any prize with one of equal or greater value. Winners may not request prize substitution. Eligibility

A winner will be disqualified if he/she or a member of his/her household has won a WMGK contest with a value over $50.00 within the previous 60 days.
